The first time anyone from your company logs in, you’ll be taken through a short setup wizard to create your organization — the account that everyone on your team will belong to.

Step 1: Welcome

The wizard opens with a summary of what creating an organization unlocks:
  • Invite teammates and manage their roles
  • Create departments to structure your team
  • Control fine-grained permissions for your organization
Click Get started to continue.

Step 2: Name your organization

You’re asked for two things:
  • Organization name — a display name (e.g. “Acme Corp”) shown to everyone on your team. You can change this later.
  • URL slug — a short, lowercase identifier used in links and IDs (e.g. acme-corp). It fills in automatically from your organization name as you type, but you can edit it yourself if you’d prefer something different.
The page shows a live preview of what the identifier will look like, and won’t let you continue until both fields are filled in correctly. Click Create organization to submit, or Back to return to the welcome step.

What happens next

Creating your organization automatically makes you its first Org Admin — the role with full management access, described in Permissions & Roles Explained. From here you can invite teammates, create departments, and start setting up projects.

Step 3: Done

On success, you’ll see a confirmation (“Organization created!”) and be taken to your dashboard automatically after a moment. A Go to dashboard button lets you skip the wait. For how the organization you just created relates to departments, projects, and permissions, see Core Concepts.
